Skill Inventory
The Future of Recruitment
It's getting harder and harder to find the right employee. With Skill Inventory, it's clear from the start what skills, potential, and personality traits employees bring to the table.
The idea.
The Skill Inventory project is designed to identify and classify high-potential employees and knowledge experts within the company at an early stage. Accordingly, it initiates an upskilling process for the company’s employees in the context of digital transformation and ensures the company’s long-term viability.
The project will help identify the technical knowledge that employees possess in disciplines relevant to the future, which will in turn inform individual professional development initiatives.
The software is designed to address the issues of job cuts and the shortage of skilled workers in the IT sector in a playful way.
Skill Inventory systematically assesses the skills, potential, and personality traits of employees and presents the results using a competency matrix. Individual employee development measures are derived based on defined target profiles. The target profiles are always identified individually within each company and integrated into the solution. This ensures a company-specific approach. Furthermore, a retest can be used to evaluate the success of each professional development measure. The challenges and issues are resolved through the upskilling process.
Furthermore, Skill Inventory can also be used as an aptitude assessment tool in recruiting.
Challenge.
Digital changes and adaptations are having a significant impact on the industrial sector in particular and are bringing about modernized work environments. This is changing work processes, especially in the manufacturing industry, resulting in altered staffing needs and new requirements. Tasks that were once performed manually are now handled by state-of-the-art equipment. In the long term, this leads to a significantly lower need for personnel in “traditional manufacturing” and an increased demand for IT professionals who can operate the high-tech machines and their software effectively.
More and more industrial companies are reporting job cuts and a transformation in line with their individual technology roadmaps.
The Saarland is also heavily affected by this.
